Stress

I am starting to get stressed with the end nearing. All my happines is blocked by finals/portfolios. It feels like i have an army of tests this week, and then more tests next week. I wish the end were here already.


Actually took the time to level up my druid this weekend. It was fun he has slowly turned into a monster. Very slowly. I cant wait to level him to 70 then i will have a total of 4 characters 70+. For everyone that plays wow i would recomend one time makeing a twink they are the most fun characters in the world!

Monday: We had work shops, my group just ironed out our plans. Which im pretty sure is what everyone else did.

Wednesday: Work shops again, more ironing

Friday: The Nuclear Power group presented. They had good information, credible citations, and a funny Penn and Teller video. Then my group presented, we were oil, and it went well.

The End is in Sight

Every time i think about only haveing 2 weeks left of class i get all pumped. I am so ready to start job hunting and not haveing to study all the time. Although finals stand in my way i think i will be ok. I feel like Frodo at the end of Lord of the Rings, i thought the journey would kill me but it didnt and now i can finally rest. Idk if i would go that far but it sounds pretty good when you say it out loud.

My Aunt Mary died this weekend. She has been really sick for about 3 weeks now, and seemed fine before that. But she has passed and everyone is taking it pretty hard.

Nearing the End of this School Year

I am uber excited about no school. I mean all the freedom, quiet, and lack of homework is gonna be awesome. I am lookin forward to being able to stay out late anyday of the week and not have to take a hit the next morning in my academic performance. I am just flat out STOKED about the end of this school year!

I played some more wow this weekend and I respeced my warrior to dps. I am not a good tank and I just dont like catching flak for getting everyone killed when its not my fault. So i have opted to do the easier job of dpsing. It has been great so far and i am taking a liking to the simplicity of the whole thing. Finnally something I truly enjoy doing, and with dps spec i am relatively beastly in pvp.

Free Writing Assignment #2

Writing is a form of communication between 2 or more people, it is also a way of recording events or releasing ones creativity. Writing can be an art style as it is with poetry where the the format can speak as loud as the words, or greatly enhance your particular words. Take Poe for example he writes entire short stories that rhyme and sound really cool. "The Cask of Amantillado" or something like that is written in a sweet format so it reads like a poem but is long and tells a story. Writing really sucks at times but it can be used in cool creative ways.

New Day Same Old Stuff

I took a mythology test this week, it totally blew, but not that it was hard i just didnt want to study for it. I belive i did well but who knows. I have been scopeing out the net and i found the theme song to Watchmen. It is totally awesome and on my top 10 list of songs. The song is titled "The Beginning is The End is The Beginning" by the Smashing Pumpkins. Listen to it if you get the chance and tell me what you think.

I watched the movie Feast 2 this week, it was shall we say...interesting. I would deffinetly recomend watching the first Feast film, but the second one was kind of a let down. The first film had over the top blood, and by over the top i mean they spray a girl with gallons of it, while the second one had an overabundance of other substances (vomit). Watch the first one, but i wouldn't watch the second one unless you are just super, and mean SUPER curious about it.

Spring Break

Played lots of wow this week. Leveled my Mage to 72 as well as my Death Knight. I ran lots of Northrend dungeons on those 2 toons, it was a blast. They only thing that was a pain is that my death knight is specced blood, but i always seem to end up tanking for the group. It was a good and pretty productive week of game play. To bad it was interupted by all the home work and studying i had to do over my break away from class.



I was visited by my cousin JR and his wife Amy and found out that they were having a baby. Which was very surpriseing news but good news none the less. My grandparents came over and visited as well which was strange to begin with, but come to find out they had a dog now. It may not seem that impressive but my grandparents have been against haveing a dog for close to 50 years now. This break was full of surprises.

Eng. Assignment Over Spring Break...

English Course Goals:
1. I understand how rhetoric can be both visual and textual.
2. Differnt people need different things to be persuaded.
3. I need to develope my style...
4. Know what your talking about and state it clearly
5. Can't make a good argument without these things.
6. Weall hate to do it but we all have done research, and understand that it must be done.
7. We have lots of practice, and I will need more to grow in this area.
8. While I see format as the least important, the other things are essential to holding readers attention.
9. Slacking gets you no where.
10. Havent' done alot of this yet bt will very soon.
11. Lots of experience with this, only hard part is audience never changes.

A Good Week for Once

This last week has been awesome. I had only one class on friday, can you believe it? It was truely fantastic to come to school for one hour, then make a few stops to pick up minor things for home and leave town. It was a good week for me I hope it went as well for everyone else.

Finally finished farming reputation in wow and got my Netherdrake. I choose the Onyx drake because it was by far the best looking one of the bunch and now I can cruse the airways in style. Now I am going to work on farming my Time Lost ProtoDrake, So wish me LUCK!!!!

Zul'Farrak

So this weekend i have tried probibly a million times to go to a dungeon called Zul'Farrak. It is not a hard dungeon to do but it is hard to find 4 other people who will go with you and who will do thier job in the group. I have had so much trouble with Dps characters not doing their jobs or aggroing way more mobs than we can handle. It has been a total mess, but i eventually got the job done. Hopefully in the future it will not be so hard.

Splinter

I just watched a really creepy move called "Splinter". It was weird and grotesque at the same time. The movie was about some creature that would infect other organisms by shooting what look like splinters into them, then it would have control over the body of the "host". If you like creepy, jumpy, and grotesque movies i would deffinetly watch this one.

Thesis Sentences:
Paper #1: A person at the age of 18 can go to war and die for our country, smoke cigarettes, and vote.
Paper #2: If the government were to gradually lower the age over 5-7 years, put a quantity allowance on alcohol, and give younger people bars of their piers to go to that would encourage safe habits; then the drinkin age could be safely lowered and sustained.

Snow

I almost didnt make it to class friday. When i left home i accidentily slid off the road. Someone had made tracks throught the deep snow and i got my tires caught in it, then was drugg off the road. It sucked i shoveled for and hour before a plow came by and pulled me out. Then i went on to campus before realizeing my pants were soked from the snow. FUN STUFF!

I was playing wow during the super bowl, and found out the wow people love to chat it up about the game. They were all talking crap to each other it was epic. Nerds screaming rude remarks via text. I cant wait till next year so i can see it again.

A New Week

This week has been alot better for me. None of my days start before 11am and i am done by 4 everyday. It is kinda nice to be able to sleep in. I went to my first ever lab this week and it was awesome. It is geology lab and all we do is look at rocks and try to label them for 2 hours, sounds boreing but it wasnt so bad. The lecture sucks so i wouldnt recomend the class just to take the lab once a week. But all in all it was a good week, or as good as a week can be.

This weekend i played a little bit of wow, but not much. I have been kinda bored with it lately. I also have been playing the game legendary, which is focused around pandora's box and the masterious release of mythological monsters on NYC. I havent played enough to decide weather i like it or not but at first glance it has been interesting.

Thank You for Smokeing

This is an awesome movie so far. My favorite quote "If you argue correctly, you are never wrong". Cancer Boy was also awesome, and when he told the kids to find things out for themselves. Over all this has been a very entertaining movie so far, and i look forward to seeing the rest.

First Week in Hell

Classes this week have totally sucked. I fell asleep in 3 of them the first day due to boredome. So I have dropped several classes that I dislike the most, and now I belive things will go alot smoother for me. I hope everyone else doesnt have the same problems that I did. Enjoy class everybody, If that is even possible.

This weekend has been relaxing after last week. I have been playing Left for Dead (zombie survival game), and it has been awesome. Some things are annoying like the ability to get oneshotted with a shotgun from 400ft. But over all it is a great game. Multiplayer rocks and the story mode is just as good. Everyone should play it!
